Beaton, a singer, once took a year off from teaching to study voice at Cal State Northridge. Other faculty performers include former theater arts teacher John Kilpatrick and AHS’ current drama teacher Bibi Kemper. The two will play the battling Thénardiers from “Les Miserables.”
